The Voice down in marathon, not a sprint.

Ratings: The Voice led in entertainment shows but Have You Been Paying Attention? topped the demos.

Nine won last night with an evening of lengthy musical shows.

The Voice was a marathon, pushing the 2.5hr barrier just to eliminate 2 singers. As a result its audience a 832,000 was down on last Monday’s 992,000.

Yet it still bettered MasterChef Australia on 684,000, Back Roads (610,000),  7:30 (609,000) and House Rules (591,000).

But it was Have You Been Paying Attention? that topped the demos, with 750,000 in total viewers.

Nine Network won Monday with 29.8% then Seven 26.0%, 10 20.2%, ABC 16.8% and SBS 7.1%.

Nine News was best for Nine at 973,000 / 952,000. A Current Affair won its slot at 811,000 then Hot Seat (543,000 / 334,000) and The Queen + Adam Lambert Story (337,000).

Seven News was #1 with 1.1m / 1.02m for Seven then The Chase (674,000 / 414,000) and Home and Away (651,000). A John Wick movie pulled 271,000.

The Project was 543,000 / 336,000 for 10 then 10 News First (449,000), Kinne Tonight (297,000) and Celebrity Name Game (275,000).

ABC News (741,000), Media Watch (417,000), Four Corners (413,000), Q&A (355,000) and The Drum (205,000) comprised ABC’s remaining shows.

On SBS it was 63 Up (271,000), Medicine or Myth? (210,000), 24 Hours in Emergency (155,000) and SBS World News 116,000.

Bluey led multichannels again at 210,000.

  1. Have so enjoyed revisiting the lives of the 7Up participants once again on 63Up.Sad to see one of the group no longer with us and another terminally ill.
    Surely one of the last instalments….possibly one or two more at the most ?
    Great to see Neil seemingly much more content and settled in his life now. His is the most interesting story of all the participants.Such a thoughtful, intelligent and caring man. Don’t think he will ever truly be happy though and sad to read the recent ‘Guardian’ interview with him where he feels his life has been a failure. The interview and accompanying reader comments makes for thoughtful reading.
