FOX Sports begins coverage of the FIBA Basketball World Cup 2019 from Saturday, including Live  coverage of every Australian Boomers and Team USA game.

Kayo Sports will also broadcast matches.

Australian Boomer and NBA Utah Jazz star Dante Exum  said, “The 4th quarter in the game on Saturday against the USA was electric, and I am looking forward to seeing the Boomers repeat that performance during the World Cup. They have a really strong team with my teammate Joe Ingles and Patty Mills, Andrew Bogut, Matthew Dellavedova to name a few. Unfortunately, I won’t be with them this time around but wish them the best of luck”.

The Boomers’ FIBA World Cup campaign begins on Sunday, September 1 against Canada. After each team claimed a victory in their two warm-up matches in Perth last week, the scene is set for another thrilling match-up. Coverage begins from 5.30pm on FOX Sports More 507.

The Boomers will then face Senegal on Tuesday, September 3 at 5.30pm and Lithuania on Thursday, September 5 at 9.30pm for their last two games of the group stage.

High hopes fill the Boomers chances after their performances during their warm-up matches against Canada in Perth, and Team USA in Melbourne. The team features a number of stellar players from the NBA including Andrew Bogut, Patty Mills, Matthew Dellavedova, Joe Ingles and Aron Baynes.

Team USA, reigning World Cup champions in 2010 & 2014, return to the big stage on Sunday, September 1 against Czech Republic. Coverage begins at 10.30pm following the Canada v Boomers game. USA will then face Turkey on Tuesday, September 3 and Japan on Thursday, September 5 with both matches to commence following the Boomers games.
