Former Sunday Night reporter is bound for Nine, to cover Sport on the Today show during summer.
He has previously been a sports presenter at GWN7 & Seven News and sports producer for Sunrise.
For the last 9 years he has been a reporter on Sunday Night, which airs its final new episode tonight. The flagship current affairs show was cut by CEO James Warburton in a cost-savings move.
Melbourne-based Tony Jones recently finished up as Sports presenter for Today amid cast changes and the announcement of Karl Stefanovic & Allison Langdon for 2020.
Cullen begins with Nine in two weeks.

That could be a good move, as long as he is studio based.
I enjoyed Alex in his reporting role at Sunday Night,i feel he would be a good addition to sixty mintes now that he has switched over to nine.
Oh great, I like Alex. Shame he’s doing sport though. I usually skip that bit. Can’t stand sports.
