  1. So I have spent 7 weeks recording The Stranger only for them to do a double & I can’t get SBS on demand!
What a waste of time and effort!
What’s the deal with surprise double episodes!?!

  2. With discussion around TARA recently I thought I’d include some changes the US version of The Amazing Race had last night in it’s 34th season.

    – First time not starting the race in the US.
    – An elimination will happen every leg.
    – Introduction of the Scramble. Teams were given three addresses with task name (eg saw, roll) and they got to choose what order they completed the tasks (two challenges and one roadblock). This made it super hard for teams to gauge how they were going on the leg as they didn’t know what other teams had completed already.

    1. I did not see it but that reads like a massive improvement especially compared to the Aus version’s tedium. Reality shows work best when fast paced and immersive in my view.

        1. Several seasons on AGT, he left Xfactor due to workload and came into Idol in the latter days so a bit unfair. Think his radio ratings today were at a high despite tough environment.

          1. Ok 4 seasons of AGT is the longest stretch. His radio has been a ratings winner, but just not convinced it compels people to turn into TV. A lot of radio folk have had to learn this…

  3. Does anyone know why the NRL Dally M medal is not shown on channel 9?
The AFL Brownlow medal is shown on Channel 7 and rated a huge 841,000 over 3 hours.
Fox Sport’s Dally M coverage got 105,000 viewers.

      1. Fox Sports has the rights to Dally M Awards for more than 20 years. Since 2017 the awards have been showing on Fox League. It is generally held on a Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday evening on NRL Grand Final week.
