These are the first 10 nations to qualify for the Final in Liverpool.

Norway: Alessandra – Queen of Kings

Serbia: Luke Black – Samo Mi Se Spava

Portugal: Mimicat РAi Cora̤̣o

Croatia: Let 3 – Mama Å ÄŒ!

Switzerland: Remo Forrer – Watergun

Israel: Noa Kirel – Unicorn

Moldova: Pasha Parfeni – Soarele ÅŸi Luna

Sweden: Loreen – Tattoo

Czechia: Vesna – My Sister’s Crown

Finland: Käärijä – Cha Cha Cha

They will join France, Germany, Italy, Spain, Ukraine, and the United Kingdom in the Grand Final screening Live 5am AEST Sunday on SBS.

Commiserations to The Busker (Malta), Latvia (Sudden Lights), Ireland (Wild Youth), Azerbaijan (TuralTuranX), and Netherlands (Mia Nicolai & Dion Cooper).

Australia performs in Semi Final Two live 5am AEST Friday on SBS.

  1. The quality in this first semifinal was impressive! I also didn’t mind having no jury in the end as the show was less bloated.

  2. Pretty much as expected. Croatia’s bizarre entry took a spot from a more deserving act, but without the juries to exert some quality control, it wasn’t a surprise it got through.
    Really good show too. Whoever at the BBC saw the glint in Hannah Waddingham’s eye and realised she’d make a brilliant Eurovision host should be promoted. She was fantastic.
