Returning: Unforgotten

Sanjeev Bhaskar returns in UK cop series now with Sinéad Keenan as his co-star.

Season 5 of Unforgotten starring Sanjeev Bhaskar, Sinéad Keenan & Max Rinehart premieres on BBC First later this month.

The BAFTA-winning hit returns as DI Sunny Khan and new DCI, Jessie James, uncover the truth behind another historical murder.

This premiered in the UK in February.

Human remains are discovered in a newly renovated period property in west London. But is this a murder dating back to the 1930’s or has the body been disposed of in more recent times? Sanjeev Bhaskar is back to lead the team alongside Sinéad Keenan who plays his new partner DCI James. The ghost of much-loved former colleague Cassie Stuart still hangs over the department – does Jessica have the resolve, professionalism and spirit to live up to her much-admired and respected predecessor? DI Khan’s loyal team reprise their roles including Jordan Long as DS Murray Boulting and Carolina Main as DC Fran Lingley.

Sundays at 8.30pm from May 14 on BBC First.

  1. Just glad something new is on BBC First because the channel is suffering the same fate as all the other Foxtel channels with constant repeats with the exception of no adds during the show. The only other channels that remain add free I watch are Showcase and the Movies. When BBC First started on Foxtel there was the usual hype and for awhile there were a lot of new shows like The Musketeers, Burton and Taylor, Gunpowder and now it’s only one or two a month (I check their website for What’s coming soon) and the channel is in Drama and Lifestyle which you pay extra for.

    1. I will miss Nicola Walker, though she is doing Annika S2 which I am looking forward to. I have seen Sinead Keenan in Moving Wallpaper, Little Boy Blue, Being Human, Deep Water and Show Trial.
