Dating series First Dates is headed back to Seven in 2024, and is on the hunt for participants.
The series screened for four seasons on Seven from 2016 – 2020 before 10 broadcast a single season in 2022.
But now the show is seeking singles aged 18 and over who are genuinely looking for love.
“No competition, no eliminations – just a blind date. Where it goes from there is up to you!” says a casting notice from Warner Bros. Australia.
When the series left Seven after 2020, the network indicated the show had done a good job but would not stand up in a 7:30Â against the opposition. A slot for 2024 is yet to be confirmed.
You can apply for Season 6 here.

Is there any update on First Dates returning to CH7 or has it been scrapped?
I answered this one yesterday, in TV Lounge. No update, meaning it is probably pushed to 2025.
Can we have the old staff, please!
Surely you would put it straight after Farmer… or Wednesdays alongside farmer. That would make most sense.
