Nine’s new Footy Furnace, to be formally announced today, premieres on Sunday night.
Tom Morris, Leigh Matthews and Jimmy Bartel recap the highs and lows from the latest round of
football.
10:10pm Sunday March 17 on Nine (Melb / Adelaide / Perth).
Updated: The new series will also be available nationally at 7:30pm on 9Now.

That’s a shame Leigh Matthews won’t be on telecasts providing special analysis anymore, defecting from Seven (since 2008) to Nine, I’m not sure of contracts as I know he’d been more part time/casual since around COVID, perhaps Foxtel could request him via Nine for the odd call. However, looking forward to yet another new footy show, has a bit of a monopoly with this key timeslot after each round now (bar Fox Footy’s magazine shows) as well as Sunday in general with the AM shows following Seven stopping Game Day in 2020 with COVID.
