This week on Better Homes & Gardens Dr. Harry looks to frog saunas in your garden while Adam & Juliet refresh a cute cottage.

Johanna – Steph Cooks Stuff
Steph Cooks Stuff is the name of the one-woman social media sensation that has become immensely popular the last few years. The woman behind it, Steph De Souza, is using her passion for cooking and her warm, bubbly and friendly personality to inspire people to learn to cook. Johanna travels to Steph’s hometown to talk about how she uses leftovers to create quick, easy and delicious meals and dig into her social media journey. Talking about how to cook these meals is one thing, but the best way to learn is actually doing, so Steph gives Johanna a lesson on how to cook couple of her sensational recipes, using her trusty Airfryer.

Dr Harry – Frog Saunas
Global pandemics aren’t just for humans it seems. The frog world is also experiencing a pandemic of its own with a deadly fungus wiping out more than 90 species around the world, making it one of the worst ever infectious diseases. The Australian Green and Golden bell frog are now at risk of extinction, but thankfully, a team of scientists from Sydney is working to find a solution and it’s something you can help with. So, if you want to attract some frogs to your garden and help prevent them from going extinct, Dr Harry will give you the tips, so you can hop to it!

Adam + Juliet – Paint A Smile On Your Façade
What do you do with the front of a cute cottage that’s lost its charm? Well, if you’re Adam and Juliet, you turn it back into the happiest house on the street! And you’ll be surprised to learn that a front of house refresh doesn’t have to be massive or cost a fortune. A few well-considered design details can make all the difference. From a coat of paint, a new deck and traditional timber fretwork, to a bright new front door and of course, some pretty plants, you could try one or all of these projects on your house. But for this cute cottage, after Adam and Juliet have finished, it will soon have the happiest façade on the street.

Melissa – Power of The Rainforest
Rainforests are home to over 50 per cent of the world’s flora and fauna, and here in Australia we have rainforests all over the country, from the Daintree in northern Queensland to the cooler temperate rainforests of Tasmania. Melissa’s in Sydney’s Royal Botanic Gardens to explore The Calyx, a stunning architecturally designed venue, to get up and close to their stunning rainforest display. Featuring one of the largest green walls in the Southern Hemisphere, this amazing place is also scattered with lots of artwork, sculptures and plenty of inspiration for planting indoors or outdoors at your place.

Colin – Prawn Farming & Avocado Cocktail
Colin has travelled to north Queensland to check out the process of farming one of our favourite seafoods, the prawn. After a tour of the farm, Colin takes up the rare opportunity to cook right there at the source, with the freshest prawns he’s ever likely to encounter. He’s going to whip up a Prawn cocktail and since he’s in Queensland, he’s going to use of the state’s other fresh exports, the avocado.

Charlie – Spruce It Up For Summer Fun
Whether you’ve got a big backyard, a little backyard or even a balcony, you understand how important our outdoor spaces can be. They keep the family happy during warmer months, whether it’s entertaining the kids, friends and family or just a spot to hang out and relax. But let’s face it, if the area isn’t used all year round it can become a forgotten space in the yard and a dumping ground. Charlie is going to spruce up an entertaining area, that hasn’t been used since this time last year, into a resort-style destination, featuring different zones for dining, relaxing and entertaining. With plenty of tips to use at your place, a makeover like this is just in time for Christmas!

Adam – Farmhouse Luxury
When it comes to lifestyle, us Aussies are pretty spoilt for choice with beautiful beaches, vibrant cities and lush, verdant countryside. Adam’s visiting a luxurious, modern farmhouse that’s only 15 minutes from the bustling Gold Coast but is nestled in a quiet valley. With massive cathedral ceilings, wide hallways and large windows throughout, this is a family home bathed in light. While the house is centred around an inviting pool, it’s hard to know whether the wellness centre comprising a spa, sauna and ice bath provides a bigger wow factor than its very own driving range.

7pm Friday on Seven.
