Married at First Sight‘s second outing this year has drawn 1.48m viewers and topped viewing on Tuesday.
It’s also up compared to 2024’s second episode of 1.28m.
MAFS was around double The 1% Club (779,000) then 7:30 (733,000), Dr Karl’s How Things Work (595,000) and I’m a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here (586,000).
Seven News 1.42m was ahead of Nine News at 1.19m.
Nine won Tuesday.

It is so bizarre to rewatch ‘MAFS’ episode one, season one, before it was the behemoth it has become today.
Nine would be happy, already (as they’d hoped but also expected) dominating most timeslots and metrics, especially east coast. No doubt helped by that lucrative launch pad of the Aus Open including a 50% share and 4m+ tuning-in at some stage (13m+ for the fortnight) the night before Married launch.
What is the attraction of Married At First Sight I do not understand why people are watching it in droves I will stick with I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here
any ideas why seven news has increased its lead over 9 from last year’s numbers?tipping point still a bit above the chase.
Peter Overton’s absence from the Sydney news chair (due to previously reported health issues) may be a factor?
yeah…with the new oztam w don’t see how any particular city is faring.been quite a shift toward seven news tho…about 200k up nowadays
Tried 1% club but the host isn’t my cup of tea. Give me Lee Mack anyday.
I’m a Celeb was a cracker last night, loved the eating challenge.
I’m A Celebrity comes 4th, with a little over a third of the number of Married viewers.
Not looking good with all the publicity it gets –
Yet Robert Irwin will still likely be nominated for a Gold Logie.
MAFS is a beast so IAC is not alone in that regard. Logies aren’t purely based on ratings and RI is a natural performer, so good luck to him. Hard to recall someone coming out of the gate so strong as he did last year.
