The end of the Easter weekend saw audiences return to Monday, although not in bumper figures that sometimes associate long weekends.
It was best for Seven and ABC, while Nine’s renovation show continues to hamper its chances of being competitive.
Seven network won with 35.9% then Nine 21.3%, ABC 19.2%, TEN 18.5% and SBS 5.2%.
My Kitchen Rules remained at #1 with 1.33m viewers for Seven followed by Seven News (1.27m / 1.11m), Downton Abbey (876,000) and Home and Away (698,000). The Chase did not air in all markets due to AFL but scored 402,000 / 212,000. Castle drew 313,000.
Nine News (1.03m / 980,000) was best for Nine followed by A Current Affair (904,000), Hot Seat (433,000), Reno Rumble (370,000) and Tyke: Elephant Outlaw (225,000).
ABC News (883,000), Australian Story (841,000), 7:30 (777,000), Four Corners (658,000), Media Watch (570,000) and Q&A (423,000) comprised ABC’s night.
The Project (603,000 / 413,000) was best for TEN. All Star Family Feud was 570,000, TEN Eyewitness News was 445,000 and the 2015 Melbourne Comedy Festival Gala was 385,000.
On SBS it was Secrets of the Brain (197,000), SBS World News (147,000) and Royal Navy School (135,000).
Easter Monday was good for Peter Rabbit at 230,000 on multichannels.
Today: 305,000
Sunrise: 271,000
ABC News Breakfast: 59,000 / 42,000.
OzTAM Overnights: Monday 28 March 2016.

The consistency of Downton Abbey this season has been remarkable! Has any foreign drama performed this strongly in a sixth season on free to air in recent memory?
Doc Martin, which is higher at S7.
Well there you go lol
I was thinking more of the commercial stations, especially as Downton requires you to watch weekly to follow. I wonder if they’ll play the two hour finale in one piece as it’s supposed to?
I caught some of the comedians All Star Family Feud….It was quite funny and entertaining.
All Star FF is a bit tame and drags on for too long, much prefer the 30 minute version.
Agree, 60 minutes is too long. Last night also needed a couple more well known comedians in my opinion.
100% ditto. 60 mins of ASFF gets really tedious. So many rounds being played.
Hope All Star Family Feud picks up next Monday!
Home & Away below 700 000. Ouch.
Big drop from Seven News to Home & Away but luckily there’s a huge recovery to My Kitchen Rules.
David, Media Watch 570,000
