OzTAM has sent through its final numbers for the 2016 ratings year, which follows the 28 day Timeshifted viewing.
The AFL Grand Final Presentations remains the biggest single audience in the 5 city metro at 3.201m viewers.
The State of Origin matches aired on 9Gem and not on Nine in Perth, which is why they do not appear in the ranking reports.
Molly was the top-rated drama of the year and The Block: Winner Announced led the reality race.

The Perth audiences on 9Gem are below.
There are separate tables for Most Timeshifted and Pay TV viewing which I will run separately shortly.

I clicked on this story because of the picture. Bit disappointed to see that the player has a five-oclock shadow. Obviously not a pic from last Saturday night.
I’m surprised the news doesn’t get more of a mention in this list, nightly it returns around 1 million viewers on both 7 and 9, but it’s split between networks so I guess that’s the difference.
I love it that Pacific Rim made the top 20 multis.
Otherwise this proves that sport is king when it comes to FTA.
Big drop for Molly Part 2
Very surprised that 5-cities had the Sat Night AFL on 7mate. I don’t know why?
There’s no numbers for the Pre Match of Origin Game 1 for Perth.
Why are Melbourne people so obsessed with TV? With the exception of Rugby League they outrank Sydney viewers almost every time.
Huge year for Seven.
That AFL Grand Final audience in Melbourne is absolutely ridiculous!
One third of the population of Melbourne were watching that day.
