Nine to screen UK doco with men who go on the record about A-list actor.

Kevin Spacey: Unmasked, a documentary  that was first announced prior to Spacey being acquitted of multiple sexual offences in the UK, will screen on Nine next week.

Screening as a double episode, it features interviews with multiple men (unrelated to the UK case) speaking for the first time about their experiences with Spacey.

In July 2023  Spacey was found not guilty of nine charges of sexual assault, indecent assault and — the most serious charge — causing a person to engage in penetrative sexual activity. The acquittals came after Spacey won a $40 million civil lawsuit brought by actor Anthony Rapp in 2022.

In response to the doco, Spacey has said, “I’m honored to be starring in my first film with Warner Brothers in many years. I hope the Academy takes note of some of the great acting by the lesser known cast.”

8:30pm Wednesday May 8 on Nine.
