On Hiatus

2023 ratings are over and TV Tonight commences Summer hiatus from today.
This means there will be morning posts spanning News, Programming & Subscription, while still keeping an eye on Breaking News.
2023 Ratings results are published tomorrow.
Please note there may be some delays for Comments, Ratings, Calendar and social media -your patience is appreciated during this time. There will be limited posts on weekends.
It’s been quite a year of content and change, and it was great to fully resume set visits and Upfronts after years of disruption. Amongst those highlights were a first visit to Nine’s Mt Coot-tha studio, attending Screen Forever on the Gold Coast, Children’s Content Summit at Coffs Harbour, and a full day embedded behind the scenes with the Neighbours production team.
There are still some interviews and reviews ahead, and soon the annual voting for the TV Tonight Awards.
As always, I still manage to file every day, including Christmas and your loyalty is always appreciated!

Although I don’t always agree with some of your comments or choice of content David, I do appreciate the amount of work you put into this site. Obviously a labour of love but also an extremely useful resource for the Australian media viewer. Best wishes for Christmas and the New Year.

Happy Hiatus David and Merry Christmas. Thank you for this wonderful site and all the work you put in to it, cannot go for a day without having to visit here at least once.
Wishing you a wonderful break (despite still posting for us everyday including Christmas). I have thoroughly enjoyed tuning in every morning whilst having my cup of tea to read all things TV.
Looking forward to your Top 5 (I think it’s 5…or maybe 10)? I am sure you have some recommendations I have forgotten about.
Ps. I didn’t know you did social media posts as well? Do you have a social media page David?
