GO will screen! 4 episodes of local chat show The Darren Sanders Show as a channel experiment.
Recorded by Sanders last month in Sydney, they will air in September after midnight across a Thursday to Sunday night. Earlier episodes of the show have screened on Community TV but getting the shows to air has been a 2 year labour of love.
Guests include Glenn Shorrock, Darren Carr, Dr Nikki Goldstein, Lindsay Webb, Darren Percival, Renee Brack, Steve Le Marquand, Vanessa Raspa and David Smiedt.
“Most of these guests I had never met before the shoot. The support from all of them was fantastic too,” he says.
“I’m looking forward to one day having a producer on the other side of the camera. And crew for that matter!”

Yeah funny about his comment about not having a crew. I was there as a crew member.
Not a proud moment.
And who knew who Rove McManus was when he first started! Comedy audiences know who Darren Sanders, a kick arse comedian who is entertaining with a relaxed insightful style of interviewing interesting people. Give him a try, what’s the worst that could happy, you might enjoy him? Thank you GO for looking outside the box & investing in local talent!
When ever Niki Goldstein is on i always enjoy the segment. She has somevery good advise realtionship and sex-wise. Plus she is hot hot hot!. Will givethis a go, i mean other networks air Craig Ferguson late and David Letterman late. If this show meets certain targets then it will get a better slot or even the show could be produced by Nine. I agree with you david this could be the start of something positive, Nine used to air David Letterman.
I’d watch if it was Larry Sanders.
I’d be interested in giving this a look if it wasn’t on Go. The bit-rate is so crappy that it is unwatchable.
A few months ago when nothing else was on (prob a Sat night in Feb) there was a movie on GO and another on a different channel that I was interested in watching. The one on Go was my preference but after less than 10 minutes of unbelievable macro-blocking I switched over to the other one. Go is a joke of a channel.
So they’ve shot four episodes which they’re going to sit on for four months before screening them at god-knows o’clock. He’d be better off staying on community TV!
Not really. Look at the bigger picture.
Why wait Till September? Hope nothing discussed is current otherwise will be history in 4 months time.
Strange experiment to air after midnight?
Who is Darren sanders?
