When Love Comes to Town participant faces drink driving charge

A Reality TV participant appeared in court yesterday charged with drink driving.

JenniferA participant on When Love Comes to Town appeared in a Southport Magistrates Court yesterday charged with drink driving on the Gold Coast.

Courier Mail reports Jennifer Canham allegedly registered a blood-alcohol content level of 0.140 per cent – almost three times the legal limit- when she was pulled over by police on May 24.

Police allege she was also driving with a licence that had expired in February.

Canham features in episode 7 of When Love Comes to Town, currently screening on Nine.

A Nine spokesman said production of the series was completed long before this incident occurred.

Yesterday Canham requested an adjournment to complete the Queensland Traffic Offenders Program.

The Southport court registrar adjourned her case until July 21, allowing her to complete the course.

Canham has not entered a plea.
