Returning: Unforgotten

Season 3 of UK police drama premieres on BBC First next week.

Season 3 of UK police drama Unforgotten will have its Australian premiere on BBC First next week.

The series created by actor / writer Chris Lang (The Tunnel, Hustle, Primeval) centres around two London detectives solving cold cases.

This aired in the UK in July.

Nicola Walker and Sanjeev Bhaskar will reunite to solve another historical crime, in a six-part series which reveals a fresh web of long-buried secrets.

When the body of a teenage girl is found at a building site off the M1 motorway, it’s revealed that she has been missing since the turn of the millenium.

Four men are thrown under suspicion, and it’s up to Cassie and Sunny to figure out whether any of this group of friends had anything to do with her death.

Thursdays at 8.30pm from August 9 on BBC First.

  1. Hm, I honestly thought BBCF might hold onto this just a bit longer as ITV is airing ep 4 of S3 this weekend. Won’t say I’m disappointed tho. The “guest cast” the respective seasons are always great and this year is no exception: Alex Jennings, Kevin McNally, Alastair McKenzie, James Fleet – all familiar to AU audiences.

  2. Haven’t the previous seasons of this premiered (albeit rather delayed) on the ABC rather than pay tv? Also what’s the deal with “BBC First” grabbing ITV shows?!
