Report: New base for SAS Australia

Minor Spoiler: Season Two of Seven reality series looks to have moved on from the Snowy Mountains.

Minor spoiler:

SAS Australia appears to have a new base for Season Two if reports are correct.

Daily Mail Australia has snapped photos of a site in the Blue Mountains, around 50km west from Sydney.

“Epic photos appear to show a huge building for the celebrities to reside in, and fields as far as the eye can see for gruelling endurance challenges to take place,” it claims.

“A large tarmac area with a stage was also visible – a place where lead trainer Ant Middleton has been known to torment recruits in the past.

“There are a few more buildings further down – perhaps for the cast or crew to stay in – and fully functioning portaloos on site.

“The location is set amid an abundance of trees and rolling mountains, meaning it would be hard for a member of the public to simply stumble across.”

The previous site was in Jindabyne in the Snowy Mountains, some 455km south of Sydney. Filmed in the dead of winter it lent itself to some spectacular but brutally icy challenges. However the new site should also deliver dramatic vistas.

Seven this week at least confirmed its upcoming cast including Sam Burgess, Mark Philippoussis, Jana Pittman, Brynne Edelsten, Dan Ewing and John Steffensen.
