‘Burgo’ discharged from hospital

Legendary game show host John Burgess has been discharged from Royal Perth Hospital.

‘Burgo’ was admitted after suffering a severe bacterial infection and blood poisoning last week.

The former Wheel of Fortune host told Nine News, “I don’t mind telling you it’s been a bit of a fright. Not only for me but my lovely wife, Jan, who’s been fantastic.”

He hopes to resume his WA radio commitments soon.
