  1. Looks like the producers of Australian Survivor ignored the criticism of the last couple of seasons, they are still insisting on stupid twists. I wish they would stop messing with the game, no more twists and way too many idols and we’ve only had 4 episodes! No wonder viewers are on a downward trend.

Another pet peeve, if they insist on running promotions for the next episode before the current episode has ended, please stop showing the team involved in the tribal council in the promotions, It just ruins the entire process by seeing who has survived before it has even started…

  2. Expected the Cleo interview to be much higher to be honest. 1.5m+ but i guess people weren’t as interested as first thought. I know i didn’t watch. I’ve been glued to the Winter Olympics. Guess it won’t count though anyway right as these next two weeks are seen as non-ratings weeks by some because of the Olympics which imo should count. Jakara winning gold definitely a highlight for me. The Winter Olympics has been so good. I can’t believe i’ve fallen in love with curling 😂

    1. Curling is an awesome sport to watch on tv..and what the Oz pair did to even qualify..not having a rink in the entire country..is,frankly, remarkable.curling gets a bad rap,imo by those who might not even give it a go,cause “brooms” are part of the equipment.a sport using “brooms”?..ha ha..well,it’s tactile, precise, extremely hard to do w/o a huge amount of practice..and requires a large measure of physical skill..try sliding down a rink, following a speedy rock, sweeping like mad, sideways, trying not to touch rock and all the while guaging line and speed…then try to deny that.

  3. Nine clearly overestimated the onoing interest in the Cleo Smith case when it opened it’s cheque book last month. While it won it’s slot, that was a soft number for a hyped interview

    1. Agree a lighter than expected numbers – given there was lots of PR for this during the tennis.
I think the $2m was for coverage over all Nine media platforms, ie online, smh/age newspapers etc so I don’t think it’s a one interview and that’s it.
