10 News First Political Reporter Tegan George has lodged a Fair Work claim in the Federal Court against her employer, Network 10.
The case alleges a Breach of General Protections in the workplace.
George joined 10 in 2010 after 3 years at WIN Television.
In February 2021 she was the first to grill PM Scott Morrison on his reaction to Brittany Higgins’ allegations ‘as a husband and a father.’
“Shouldn’t you have thought about it as a human being?” she asked.
In 2017 George and friends were subjected to derogatory language by boxing fans at Suncorp Stadium, resulting in a 2 year ban for the troublemakers.
Meanwhile last October 10 confirmed it had undertaken a ‘cultural review’ after concerns within its Canberra press bureau.
A Network 10 spokesperson said today, “As this is an employee matter, we will not be commenting.”
