Locky admits to fake tears on The Bachelor
Real men don't cry on The Bachelor, it seems.

In news that will surprise nobody, former Bachelor Locky Gilbert last night admitted on SAS Australia to faking his tears in the finale of 10’s dating show.
Watching a video from his partner Irena, he proceeded to ‘sob’ for the SAS cameras.
Later he even confessed to using sad songs to get himself in the mood to cry while filming The Bachelor.
“It’s a really good technique,” he said. “That’s what made me cry on the finale. I was literally standing with headphones in as they were about to walk out. Car pulled up, boom, headphones in the pocket. I had to make myself cry.”
On the Seven show the DS picked that his face looked dry as he continued to fake sob over the video, and questioned his authenticity.
In 2020 Gilbert also told The Project his “emotions were real” as he broke Bella’s heart (you can see the footage here).
Authenticity sorted.

I used to absolutely love Locky on Survivor (both times). I connected with his adventurous side and seemed like a right laugh (and yeah, I totally mancrushed, too)). But on SAS he’s just shown too much of a douchey side that has been a real disappointment. Great show, though.
