“No news” on more Line of Duty says Jed Mercurio
Showrunner and creator keeps fans waiting on future episodes of hit British crime drama.

Fans hoping for more of Line of Duty have a long wait ahead for more, if any of the acclaimed UK crime drama.
Showrunner and creator Jed Mercurio recently told TV Tonight, “There’s no news. We always say that we would all love to work together.
“We enjoy making the show and it would be great to have an opportunity to do more but at the moment, there’s there’s no commitment from any party to more episodes.”
Mercurio currently has his hands full with a range of hit productions including Trigger Point (Season 2 is about to drop), DI Ray, Bloodlands, plus new Joanne Froggatt drama Breathtaking and more Bodyguard in development.
Line of Duty starring Martin Compston, Vicky McClure and Adrian Dunbar, has delivered 6 seasons, the last in 2021.
