It was another tough night for Made in Bondi falling to 167,000 for its broadcast from 9:05pm, plummeting from the highs of The Voice at 965,000 before it, and down from 212,000 last week.
According to OzTAM data that put Seven’s primary channel behind 7mate’s second episode of Outback Truckers at 242,000 from 8:30 – 9:30pm -which I guess helps even out the share over all, because Seven still managed to clinch Tuesday -by less than 1%.
The Block again topped entertainment at 1.06m viewers in National TV Audience then The Voice (965,000), 7:30 (755,000), Back Roads (559,000). Deal or No Deal: Celebrity Jackspot special struggled at 242,000 with Great Coastal Railway Journeys on 191,000 for SBS.
The Assembly pulled 435,000 for ABC then The Cheap Seats (399,000), Insight (181,000) and Made in Bondi (167,000).
Nine’s Paralympics pulled 572,000 / 464,000 / 212,000 across the night.
Seven News was #1 at 1.31m with Home & Away at 887,000 then The Chase (635,000). First Dates UK was just 87,000.
Nine News averaged 1.23m followed by wins for A Current Affair (1.12m) and Tipping Point (647,000).
ABC News scored 876,000. Hard Quiz (373,000), Antiques Roadshow (239,000) and The Art Of (185,000) followed.
10 News First was 329,000 for 10 then The Project (304,000), Deal or No Deal (267,000) and NCIS (140,000).
On SBS it was SBS World News (221,000 / 164,000), Dateline (146,000) and Mastermind (101,000).
Sunrise: 423,000
Today: 294,000
News Breakfast: 234,000
National Total TV: Tuesday 3 September 2024

David, I have a question about the “Deal Or No Deal” Specials. Do you know if/when they will return? I saw an ad for something else in that timeslot for Monday. A friend of mine was on the podium in the “I’m A Celebrity” episode, and I’m wondering if I’ve missed it. Thanks.
Should be Sept 17. Update: It’s been rescheduled, now later in the year.
Yeah…surely it’s only a matter of time before we’re reading “Bumped: Made in Bondi” as a headline on this website? Going by the snippets I endured during last week’s Gogglebox, MIB’s content is incredibly dire and therefore its poor ratings are very much deserved IMO.
Nine’s Paralympics coverage would’ve made an impact last night, but I don’t think the ABC would want The Assembly to fall too much further in the ratings! That said, last night’s episode was rather lightweight for an episode with the sitting Prime Minister – this observer probably would’ve liked a bit more journalism from the aspiring journos with some “What is your government doing to support autistic Australians?” type questions posed to Albo.
I can guarantee, as an Autistic person myself, Albo wouldn’t have had a satisfactory answer to that question. Their government has done jack all to support Autistic people and they know it. In fact, they’re actively trying to kick them off the NDIS.
Sam Pang made a Logies joke about how good it was to see last year’s MAFS cast in the room – albeit waiting tables. At this rate the Made in Bondi cast won’t even make it past valet parking duties.
Surely MIB is destined to 7flix or 7bravo next week, especially when Outback Truckers out rates it (albeit OT starts 30 minutes earlier).
