The 1% Club screens later this month on Seven with a State v State ‘special event’ episode hosted by Jim Jefferies.
In the ultimate battle of wits, contestants from across the country will go head-to-head to determine which state deserves the title of Australia’s smartest. With $100,000 on the line – and eternal bragging rights up for grabs – the competition is fierce.
Hosted by Aussie comedian Jim Jefferies, the special episode will put participants through their paces with fresh, mind-bending questions designed to separate the masterminds from the daydreamers.
The 1% Club sees 100 everyday Aussies compete to answer questions that test lateral thinking, logic, and problem-solving. Only a select few make it to the final round to see if they can answer the 1% question.
Join the fun and play along from your living room to see if you’re smarter than 99% of the population.
The 1% Club is produced by BBC Studios Australia and New Zealand from a format created by Magnum Media and distributed by BBC Studios.
7.30pm Tuesday 28 January on Seven.

I’ll be watching I’m A Celebrity as I always do don’t like Jim Jeffries anyway
Well I actually don’t like Jim Jeffries as the host of 1% club. Personally the show would be better without him. Oddly I could see him working better as the host of I’m A Celebrity …..
I’d rather have Robert Irwin anyday over Jim Jefferies on I’m A Celebrity
Tuesday night –
up against the 2nd night of Married At First Sight.
Also suggests that 7 doesn’t have much to offer on the Monday night.
And if I’m a Celebrity manages to get up a little steam.
It’ll likely get hammered.
BBL final is Monday 27th.
MAFS & IAC. No one’s watching the discount cricket final
