Australian Phoebe Tonkin is joining The Vampire Diaries in a recurring role.
Tonkin, who appeared in Home and Away, H20: Just Add Water and Tomorrow When the World Began, will play Hayley, described as wild, sexy and free-spirited and someone who Tyler (Michael Trevino) has a past with.
She will reunite with former H20: Just Add Water castmate Claire Holt who also appears in Vampire Diaires.
It’s the second US series for Tonkin, who previously appeared in The Secret Circle.
She will make her debut in the third episode of season four.

Well deserved she’s a great talent.
