  1. @Loz and Danny. Like you both I was thrilled to see Monica Potter’s name there. She really should have been Emmy nominated too but wasn’t. Nornally the Globes like to only include fresh shows or the biggest celeb names in tv. Parenthood has not received any other Globe nods in its 4 seasons. The supporting category is so silly though – mini series, tv movie or series!

  2. are you serious david it would be amazing if it was on ten/eleven air it i remember when Ricky Gervais hosted the globes twiced it aired on one of the networks on either ten or nine cant remember but again tina fey & amy poehler are hilarious & i hate it when all the good stuff are always on foxtel etc

  3. @ Loz, I’m in absolute conformity with you. Monica Potter enormously owned season 4 of “Parenthood”, she’s a tremendous and much underrated actress.

If there’s any other nomination I’m equally as thrilled about is James Spader. “The Blacklist” is a phenomenal program and for it to be recognised so early in its debut season is a tribute to its eminence and esteem.

  4. Happy the Good Wife is nominated!

Monica Potter deserves the award for Best Supporting actress in a series – she was fantastic as Christina in Parenthood last season.

  5. Brooklyn Nine Nine is crap. Let’s face it. It’s not very good and really try hard. I think they probably just bought into the face people want to like it. Also Samberg….. wtf he’s not very good in anything.

Michael J Fox is generally always good, but I do wonder if that’s a bit of a pity nomination.

Looks like Game of Thrones is now on the snub list.

  6. They have seemed to have snubbed Homeland completely this year, Claire Danes is still Best Actress in my opinion. I also think a The Crazy Ones should have been nominated, was surprised to see Robin Williams snubbed.

  7. Wow it’s pretty much spot on for most nominations. Good to see The Good Wife still getting recognition, great show and deserves more viewers in the US.

But Brooklyn Nine-Nine is average at best. The Crazy Ones, Arrested Development, Veep, 30 Rock any of these are miles ahead of 9-9. Andy Samberg and Michael J Fox are questionable too.
