The BBC has released a sneak peek of the Doctor Who Christmas Special for 2016Â as part of the annual Children in Need charity event.
Matt Lucas returns but Pearl Mackie does not appear until the series next year.
ABC is expected to air this on Boxing Day.

Judging by the expression on the Doc’s face, I’m sure there’s far more to it than meets the eye.
I love doctor who but did they have to jump on the super hero band wagon?
Indeed, it felt very odd and out of place!
