18 Comments:

  1. What does TEN really expect with nothing but reruns of repeats from yesterday and the nights previously? And it’s not about sports on 7 & 9. ABC could provide alternatives that attracted more than 3 times TEN’s offerings.

  2. The Melbourne Storm had better FTA TV ratings in Melbourne then the Sydney Swan did in Sydney.

The NRL would be happy with that as the 2 games went head to head.

    Sarurdays FTA TV ratings

Swans V Essendon Channel 7 AFL Sydney FTA TV: 90,000

Storm V Parramatta Channel 9 NRL Melbourne FTA TV : 100,000

    • Melbourne always gets more viewers per capita, Swans game was over by 1/4 time. NRL may be happy with those figures, but overall they would be very disappointed – FTA half what the AFL got and AFL won payTV which has always been NRL’s strong point.

  3. The AFL and NRL Finals dominated the ratings, as expected. The ABC held up well against the sports.

And for Ten’s 4.3% share – wow. Not a good look at all.
