Slow boat to Survivor China

In response to those who have been asking, Survivor: China appears unlikely to be airing anytime soon on the Nine Network.

A spokesperson for the network said it would most likely air sometime over summer.

Season 15 is two episodes old in the US, but ratings for the reality king have slipped both in Australia and the US.

Contestants this season include a Christian Radio Talk Show Host, a Female WWE Wrestler, a Chicken Farmer, a Grave Digger, a Gay Mormon Flight Attendant, and a Professional Poker Player.

  1. Actually, I’ve seen the first two episodes, pathetic. They seem to try to make controversy when there isn’t none on the show (see the second episode), and waste time hearing a religious woman go on and on about how her “god” put her here. I won’t be downloading anymore.

  2. Grrrrrr – Channel 9 are sure doing their best to kill off this great show. Their latest offerings aren’t exactly setting the world on fire – RFDS, Emergency and even Damages with 3 screenings per week seems to be struggling.

Just give us a 10.30 timelsot, back to back it with ER and it would be a great night’s viewing for many of us.

I don’t know what’s happening in the U.S. with timeslots etc. and maybe the formula is tiring for some but there are many younger viewers (like my kids) who were just starting to get into the whole thing.

I don’t know if I can wait for 9 to show it. Last series I read who the winner was as the series was just starting here. I still stayed up and watched the whole series – even the fianle till 2am -despite knowing the result. It certainly beats a lot of the stuff that’s on at the moment.

  3. Channel nine better bring Survivor: China and the one after it wich is going to be a Survivor:All Stars 2 show. And when they bring it they better put it on at a reasonable time.
