Chaser charges may be dropped

Charges against The Chaser cast and crew for their infamous APEC stunt may be dropped, a court was told today.

Police prosecutor Peter Morgan said lawyers for the 11 people charged had made representations to have the matter withdrawn.

According to news.com.au Police were still considering the application.

The 11 men and women are charged with breaching a security zone during the APEC Conference held in Sydney in September.

The court will revisit the case on January 16 when the case will either be dropped or listed for hearing.
