Don’t tell Naomi, but her lizard may be back.

This publicity still of ABC kids presenter Adam Saunders could almost be ripped from the Naomi Robson school of presentation.
It was Robson who befriended a shoulder lizard when covering the death of Steve Irwin, from outside Australia’s Zoo in 2006.

It was an image the generated a slew of (bad) publicity.

At least in Saunders’ case it’s a little more apt. After all he is presenting a children’s programme all about weird and wonderful animals.

The live action magazine style program, Creature Features with Saunders and Modi the Cat returns at 4:30pm Monday February 25.

A BIT ABOUT ADAM…
Adam Saunders is best known for his role as Heath in ABC TV’s Logie winning Blue Water High. Other television rolls include hosting KZone TV, playing young Tommo in the mini-series The Potato Factory, and various roles on Water Rats, Home & Away and All Saints.
