Rejoice! New eps of The Simpsons are finally on the way!
The 19th season of the FOX comedy is back in its Tuesday timeslot, 7:30pm May 6.
It kicks off with “He Loves to Fly and it D’Ohs!” with special guest Lionel Ritchie.
The opening sequence of the first ep is also a nod to The Simpsons Movie with a run down Springfield and an appearance by Spider-Pig.
Following the new Simpsons, Bondi Rescue will continue at 8pm.

+1 for this being a great season.
They really stepped up their game this season, which is about time because I wasn’t sure where The Simpsons was heading. If you asked me last year I’d have said it was time for them to pack their bags and go home.
Well it’s about bloody time. The current season’s almost wrapping up in the US.
For those worried about the quality of the series, there are some pretty good episodes this season (a few of which are classic-worthy IMO).
With that said, I would still advise viewers to keep their expectations low. 😛
