Airdate: Rock of Love

Who said we hadn’t been harmed by the writers’ strike?
After bumping UK reality I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here (*now rescheduled to Sunday arvos), TEN is replacing it with US reality, Rock of Love.
The dating show sees Poison lead singer Bret Michaels choosing a date, or a mate, or possibly just another piece of tour luggage.
One of the contestants caused controversy by trying to sleep with Vanilla Ice during her time on the show. Wouldn’t that be a badge of honour on a show like this?
The show from VH1 aired in July last year, and inexplicably, had a second season. But so do a lot of cable shows in the US….
If you can’t wait it will start at 9:30pm Friday June 6 (anybody tipping longer than 2 weeks for this one?).

Yeah, it’s garbage…but it’s fun-to-watch garbage. Lots of people like these VH1 shows so I wouldn’t bet money on a big flop if I were you.
Time will tell!
This begs the question “Has reality TV gone too far?” I think so.
It will probably break the a record for the lowest ever rating show in history wake up channel 10 this is a dead cert flop
This has aired previously on foxtel music channel, VH1, and quite frankly, it is garbage!! I Have no idea why 10 has decided to screen it, I suspect like the other show, which it is replacing in it’s timeslot, I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here, this will last a couple of weeks before it gets yanked, Why can’t 10 show something like dbl episode’s of The Office(still over a dozen season 3 episodes to air) in this timeslot on a Friday night, not some mindless dribble like this.
Let me get this straight, they replace one dodgy reality show with another. And why do they put the show on another low profile timeslot, yet other shows that don’t do as well as anticipated get booted entirely, never to be seen again? Oh of course, dramas like jericho don’t have story lines to follow…
