Secret Life for sale

The block of flats made famous in The Secret Life of Us is up for sale.

‘Inverleith‘, in St Kilda, provided the exteriors for the homes of the show’s central characters. The three-level building includes 12 oversized but unrenovated apartments, and is to be sold as one entire block. Its annual rent is $168,000 and agents expect the price to top $4m.

However, the rooftop terrace that appeared throughout the show was filmed closer to the beach, on The Esplanade, opposite the suburb’s iconic Palais Theatre and with ocean views.

It is to be auctioned on September 12.
