Lost’s Emilie de Ravin will join with actors Ivan Sergei and Cybill Shepherd in the telemovie High Noon for the US Lifetime cable network.

The Aussie actress will play hostage negotiator Lt. Phoebe McNamara who juggles her career with the demands of raising her young daughter and contending with her agoraphobic mother (Shepherd). Phoebe becomes the object of affection of a bar owner (Sergei) and the target of a psychopathic killer.

The telemovie is one of four adaptations of a Nora Roberts novel with Midnight Bayou to include Jerry O’Connell and Faye Dunaway.

Big question remains, will Emilie get to keep her Aussie accent?

  2. She was def in Home and Away! She did have some sort of facial piercing too. I’ve hunted for pics on the internet but can’t find any of her in H&A…

  3. guys i was sure. like 100% and I had the image of the squeaky voice and some kinda piercing but this is who ur thinkin on, very similar my god but different peeps, i went through the credits coz i’ve never know imdb to be wrong and it looks like we were, de ravin’s features aren;t quite as harsh and I thought she had surgery, nope different people, played justine wells this bree desbourough lassie, doppelganger!! I thought the character was nearer my age, like exact and emile is slightly younger, i was a teen when she was in it so…

  5. Just because IMDB doesn’t have details of her actually being in Home and Away, doesn’t mean that she wasn’t. I’m pretty sure she was on Home and Away, however, I don’t think it was for a very long period of time. In fact, I think she played a troubled teen that was taken in by Irene, if I remember correctly.
