It's not due until January, and very likely February in Oz. But here's something to whet your appetite.

wikipedia is reporting late Jan / early Feb so there is a good chance ch7 will air it within a week from US especially if they use ur “awkward week”
Lost = best show to come out of america in a long time, just a shame not many people agree.
i agree that this should be the last season. the storylines could wrap up nicely and it might leave with a few viewers.
Just remembered that every year ch7 has a awkward week between when the Aus open finishes and the rating season starts. as this is not a ratings blockbuster there is a chance that LOST will start here and be “seriously fasttracked” this would make a large difference to the #viewers.
David, do we have an approximate day/week this will start?
paulie,
i can understand your unfaithfulness in free to air shows but canning shows is a channel 9 and sometimes channel 10 thing. ch7 are usually patient and consistent with their shows no matter what the ratings and are usually rewarded for it
(ie. criminal minds, bones, ghost whisperer, private practice were all low raters 7 stuck with it, some of them improve ratings as a result.)
season 4 LOST was getting very low ratings and it was kept at 9:30 for the majority of the season. Ch 7 will definately show the full season beginning to end its just a question of what timeslot. atleast you can record it and then still enjoy it in full def.
The trailer looks interesting.
Be interesting to see how things play out in season 5.
umm neon kitten
u said u didnt want to see spoilers, and yet ur gonna d/l illeagily?
that make no sense
can’t wait. this show is perfect, IMO. The trailer is just so enticing and doesn’t really give anything away; which is why it’s so good! 🙂 I’ll be downloading for sure; no way I’m gonna trust channel 7 with it. Although they have always been good with shows; they do tend to give them a better shot than 9 and 10. I’ll re-watch them on 7; but no way ill wait til Feb ;P
mmm i think they should have made this season the last, i cannot see the storyline they have at the moment dragging on for another 2 seasons
great show though, never dissapoints, i wish it had better viewer numbers.
7 should bring it back to 8.30 nxt year n see how it goes
Hey Jerome.
I would love to watch Lost in High def.
I was enjoying Fringe on High Def as well. The first show in quite some time I watched weekly
Unfortunately that got canned.
Bit Torrent for Fringe we’ll have to see about Lost.
Can’t wait
yaaaaaaaaaaay, i think i just peed a little….heh
Still the best show on TV. Deserves 8.30 timeslot, especially considering some of the other crap one can find in primetime slots, but I think it will get either 9.30 (which would be good) but more likely 10.30.
surely people can wait a week to enjoy it properly in full definition (if it comes on at 9:30)
i’m supporting tv here
Lost is a great show, i think having the shorter seasons made the show better quality.
any chance of seeing it at 9:30 this year if its fasttracked? – i would say that lost is the most downloaded show is aus (no source, just my observation). ch7 has always showed it months after the US if its only a week or 2 next year it might get a better audience.
ch 7 doesn’t ax shows the way 9 and 10 do so it might be worth moving back to watching a tv show on tv.
Woot!
Bring on January!
Wow thats a great trailer. Thanks for sharing David. I can’t wait for new Lost!
love lost, every year i wait then download about ten eps and watch one after the other then get the rest by the time i’ve finished watching. it’s a great series.
Fixed (for now anyway!)…
Sorry David, ABC must have taken down that clip as it’s not working anymore.
But there are other copies on TY
BTW – interesting but not surprising, can’t wait…
Why did it get yanked?
No way I’m hitting the play button on that!
Lost is all about the reveal, and to me, pretty much any advance info is a spoiler. I’ll wait till January, download bandwidth at the ready 🙂
