The other side to that one-sided interview is now emerging, and the claims are vehemently denied.

As expected, the other side to some rather outrageous claims in the weekend press is emerging.
Shannan Ponton yesterday denied the reports by his ex-girlfriend, stating emphatically “that I have never and would never threaten a woman with any form of violence and that I’m totally opposed to any form of abuse”.
According to news.com.au, the 35-year-old said, in a statement: “I live by the same respectful values that were instilled in me by my Mum and Dad, who were the best role models a man could have.
“I am deeply disappointed that anyone would insinuate otherwise. Ending a relationship is always difficult and upsetting for all parties concerned. I choose to keep my personal matters private.”
A spokesman for FremantleMedia said both the production company behind Biggest Loser and Channel 10 were “seeking legal advice”, with possible defamation action pending.
“Shannan has our full support – definitely, without question,” he said.

Good. I’d like to believe the accusations are false, but Shannon is also a tool…
