Andrew Denton will today record his final Enough Rope, to air on December 8th.
Ben Stiller is the guest of the day, set to appear in front of a live studio audience, before hitting the red carpet for Madagascar 2.
As well as filming a second series of his Elders programme Denton will be busy behind the scenes with Project NEXT for the ABC and advertising industry satire 30 Seconds for Foxtel.
Tonight he speaks with Dr Philip Zimbardo and golfer Stuart Appleby. And next week its Angelina Jolie and Clint Eastwood.

I really liked it. But not bad, it would be to add a few important sections.
You don’t have to be extroverted to be funny. Look at Seinfeld. I think Ben has a good idea of what’s funny on screen. Most of the characters he plays are normal guy’s (not comedians) in “funny” situations, except for zoolander. But really, only his closest friends and family know what he’s really like.
As for Rove…he never interviews well. I don’t think he intends to.
I thought the entire Rove entourage looked tired and flat on Sunday – maybe they all were suffering jet lag
I’ve heard Ben Stiller is more of a tortured artist than a comedian. Hence he may not be as extroverted and overtly funny in real life.
I agree. I think he was just incredibly tired however it was evident that Chris Rock appeared to be on form and much wittier than Ben Stiller. I think publicists should try to give stars a break after travelling so far rather than cramming their schedules to the point where their interviews/guest appearances are a let down to fans.
I hope he has got over his jet lag. His interview on Rove with Chris Rock was terrible (mind you, Roves dumb questions didn’t help).
Its a shame cause he is one of my favourite comedy actors, but I’m not sure that his sense of humour is as laid back when it comes to interviews.
