The show kicks off Monday at 9:30pm and the two ladies, Gillian Harbord and Rosemary Shrager from Eggleston Hall, are about to embark on a media blitz across the country.

Nine says it will be running auditions Australia-wide and girls over the age of 18 can download an application form at www.ninemsn.com.au/ladette

If you’re going to apply, good luck. You’ll need it.

Stuff reality tv, heres the ‘ reality ‘ there are alot of girls including my sister that need to be on a show like this, alot of them are affected by drugs,commercialism, peer pressure, career issues & all kinds of abuse & violence and its good to see something being done about it…. I thought i could get my sis on the show but it looks harder than i thought as there isnt even an apply link at the moment, i will tell you right now there isnt more of a person on the planet that needs it more than she does, she might earn back like 1 percent at least back from my family for going on it and for heaven sake she needs it .

  2. Lighten up … it’s part of the great aussie theme. The more you party and drink, the more fun it is. These girls are just letting off steam and getting their 15 minutes of fame, don’t judge them so harshly. Get a life !!!!

  3. Love this show, the sluttier the better. C’mon Aussie girls and show us all how bad you are. I’m happy there’s little or no censorship in this series just the way it should be.

  4. put in their place?? womens places arent in khaki uniforms or arranging flowers… i like to watch it only because i like to see the girls run riot, the “ladies” or “Teachers” are so pompous, elitist and.. rude! they need to be cut down to size. fancy calling people “breeding stock”. i have a place they can stick their monacles…

  5. I just watched the last 15 min of the show and it stank channel 9 take it off it was so bad the 3 old women need the help esp the one wearing glass she was so bad take it off 9

  7. I agree with this being off the blocks too quickly, but I can easily see this show getting at least 1.5 million for Monday’s episode, mainly because of Underbelly of course. The viewer numbers will simply depend on how much Underbelly runs over time by Channel Nine.

  9. yep agree with u there Richo, if the pommy version could rate 900k here in aus, as long as they maintain the central feeling of the show whilst adding that great aussie flavour, its bound to get that figure again and a little bit more. Anything over 900k at 9.30 especially is a good figure. With Underbelly before it for the first ep, id predict 1.4 for the first ep, dropping to 1.1-1.2 for the following tuesdays eps.

  10. For some reason I think this will rate around 1.2 million, possibly 1.4 for the premiere. Believe it or not there really are some humans who watch tripe like this and this is yet another trashy show that they’ll lap up every week.

  12. I’m pretty sure the UK version was only 5 episodes per season. I assume it is the same for the Aussie version, so i’m not surprised they’re looking at another season so quickly.

    But it does seem a little premature.

  13. I wouldnt be so confident, RealityTV is getting really old, really fast.
    I personally wanna see RealityTV kill over, It’s well and truly run it’s course.
