That’s What Sub-Editors Are For
Ooops typos. Not only did they caption the pic incorrectly, but one newspaper just married off an executive's wife to a rival network.

News Limited newspapers mucked up today with a story on Skye Leckie’s 50th Birthday bash which was reportedly attended by Mel and Kochie, ‘actors’ from Packed to the Rafters and MC Andrew O’Keefe.
Mrs Leckie apparently sang a karaoke version of “That’s What Friends Are For,” assisted by David Campbell.
The Daily Telegraph ran the story with the headline, “Nine boss David Leckie’s wife Skye shows off her legs.”
Bow bow.
Wrong executive, guys.
And it then ran a happy-snap photo of Skye warbling with David Campbell. Underneath ran the caption “Sing and dance … Skye and David Leckie.”
Bow bow.
Wrong David, guys.
UPDATED: Daily Tele changes its header from “Nine boss” to “Seven boss” but leaves the photo and caption of David Campbell & Skye Leckie to indicate David & Skye Leckie. For the record this site ain’t spotless with wayward keystrokes either…

‘actors’ in apostrophes? Rather harsh, David! 🙂
Ha…. I guess you could take it that way. I actually meant they deserve to be named not merely cast off as a generic group. So me heart’s in the right place.
it is quite surprising how many things can get mixed up and although this story is bad i don’t think it’s as bad as channel 10 congratulating Bondi Rescue for winning the most outstanding factual Logie…you’d at least think they would know what one of there own shows won (most popular factual!)
Can’t wait for the 7 press release, I mean 9 press release!
It’s the same with rugby league players – all the wives and girlfriends look the same.
What’s more mystifying than any of that is why News Ltd would find “Skye Leckie’s 50th Birthday bash” and her karaoke attempts with a total-nobody cover-version cronner even vaguely newsworthy.
