Airdate: The Debbie Rowe Interview: The Missing Tapes

debbieroweArena has rushed a documentary The Debbie Rowe Interview: The Missing Tapes to air this Monday, July 20 at 7.30pm.

The one-hour special, produced by a former associate of the Jackson family, Marc Shaffel, features a candid Rowe speaking at length about Jackson, including their first meeting and subsequent marriage, children and divorce.

Compiled from hours of unedited interview footage filmed in one evening, Foxtel has acquired the footage directly from Shaffel.

Rowe frankly addresses some of the most intriguing rumours that have spread throughout the king of pop’s career, including child abuse claims, the real story behind how she and Jackson came to be parents, and why she married Jackson in a private ceremony in Australia in 1996:

“To prevent some of the taboo of a child out of wedlock. The kids were going to have it hard enough as it was…”

The special will also feature interview footage that has never before been seen.

  1. There is always two sides to a story, whatever the circumstances, the truth lies with Debbie Rowe and Micheal alone. Who are we to judge what is normal, and indead what is not. Does this not ring a bell? whoever is without sin, let them cast the first stone. Debbie is right, there will be comments both good and bad from this interview. They made their decisions at the time and through their time together, so who are we to judge. Again, Debbie is right, not all ‘parents’ have the right to be called parents simply by being the donor and recipient of sperm and eggs. She gave Micheal what he truely believed was the greatest gift he could ever receive and she did it gladly and out of love. I would say that would be as normal and generous as any person can be. No wonder she’s sick of the lies and the bulls**t, in her position so would I be. So, bring on the the bashing this comment is bound to generate. Those are my thoughts and I’ll stand by them, why? because I happen to believe that Debbie Rowe is no monster, or an uncaring unfeeling woman, but rather the opposite.
