GO! & 7TWO on Foxtel
If you're a cable subscriber you get access to two more channels, a little less for satellite viewers.

From today GO! and 7TWO have been added to Foxtel platforms.
7TWO has been added to CH 127, available nationally on cable and to satellite viewers on the East Coast.
GO! has been added to CH 129 nationally on cable. There are no immediate plans for satellite subscribers.
Unfortunately there are also no plans to list digital channels together with other FTA channels on the EPG, which leaves them listed underneath All Channels.
ABC3 will be added to both cable and satellite from December 4th.

I have foxtel satellite and am in Gosford and have 7two but no GO! (yet)
no 129 in Adelaide. Surprised? No!
@ John. FTA local channels re-transmitted through Foxtel are “free” and subscribers don’t pay for them.
So if your local FTA broadcasters have not done a deal with Foxtel to be be-broadcast, then there is no real “discount”
David: Foxtel transmits to regional WA.
If GO isn’t available via Foxtel that’s Ok, we hardly watch Ch 9 as we don’t have their EPG available in Adelaide (cable) and so we can’t put anything in the planner to watch like we do with 7 (and now 7TWO) TEN, One, etc so what’s good for Ch 9 is good for GO ! (hope you are reading this WIN, who own Ch 9 Adelaide)
I am in Sydney with Optus TV featuring Foxtel. I have 7TWO but no GO!
When are we in regional Australia going to get a discount for all the channels we miss out on?.
Today, I thought I hadn’t got 7TWO on Melbourne Satellite, but it was. The channel is in the entertainment section of the TV guide. Why can’t Foxtel put the multichannels in the same menu as the other FTA channel? Whatever happened to common sense?
I guess with Austar having a FTA digital tuner there is no need for them to have the channels re-transmitted on satellite? but what of those out of FTA range, IMO Austar should carry them.
Does anybody know if ‘East Coast’ includes the ACT, for these 2 channels (and even ABC3) to be added? It would be sweet to finally get some commercial FTA channels viewable through foxtel, esp. now Top Gear is on Nine, not SBS
I’m checking GO! info again with Foxtel for Adelaide and Perth.
Foxtel doesn’t transmit to regionals.
after seeing what’s on for the next week for these two channels I find myself thinking… “Why did we want these channels so desperately?” Guess it was just a case of channel envy lol
Tom im in Adelaide as well, was at my sons house earlier and 7two was on but no go. yeah whats the go with that.
Have to say the pictures of GO and 7TWO look better thru my IQ2 than thru my TV panel! Love the convenience of being able to record GO and 7TWO shows on my IQ2 than having to resort to using my now redundant PVR.
In the EPG, Go & 7Two are both listed in the Entertainment category (as is ABC2).
ABC 3 is already showing a test logo and music.
I just realised i don’t watch anything on 7TWO and I only watch 2 shows on GO!. So much for more choice.
Kerry: Get thee a MyStar HD.
Jordan: I’d say Perth and Adelaide not having FTA’s is more than ownership. It would be a costly exercise, as beaming a signal to Perth is equivalent to coast to coast links in the US.
I’m in Adelaide with cable and i have 7two but not GO!
Whats the go with that?
Why aren’t they listed under FTA in the EPG? Is it to make FTA look like it only has 5 channels?
Very annoying!
I wish someone would jailbreak the iQ firmware to enable such things 🙂
It’s so great to live in a regional area. We get no perks at all, unless you count local news that I haven’t got a shred of interest in.
Failure.
I’m a cable subsriber from Perth but GO! isn’t showing up. 7TWO is up and working though.
Thanks Ch 7 for thinking of us Satellite subscribers……having both is great…….it’s so much easier to see what is on so when I like the look of something, it’s a swtch over to HD for 7
When are they going to add to regional 🙁
Interesting how these foxtel carrage deals go with shown in some areas more than others maybe because of some ownership.
Find it strange if it is particulary to do with nine I thought they would want to be doing this in a heartbeat I get all the channels anyway just curious in reasoning for the people that need foxtel through satellite to get free to air wondering if you have info about this David? (Guessing revenues)
