Christine Nixon to talk to The Circle

Christine Nixon will appear on The Circle tomorrow, amid continuing controversy over her performance as Police Commissioner on Black Saturday.

Victorian Bushfire Reconstruction chair Christine Nixon will appear on The Circle tomorrow, in what is being billed as her first major interview since the controversy surrounding her movements on Black Saturday.

The former Victorian Police Commissioner has been criticised in the media after admitting she went to dinner while fires raged, and amid a follow up admission she met her biographer during the afternoon, while fires were beginning to break out.

She has previously spoken in a doorstop press conference and briefly to television reporters.

It will be Nixon’s second appearance on the show, following her interview on the show’s premiere in February.

The Circle airs at 10am tomorrow on TEN.

  1. Seeing as though during the premiere it seemed as though the girls of The Circle forgot that Nixon had ever even been the Police Commissioner I doubt we’ll be seeing too many hard hitting questions on whether people in positions not directly linked to events should or should not go out to dinner.

  2. Gorgi Quill will ask the tough questions, Denise will just make jokes, Chrissie will talk about food with her and Yumi will just yell out random stuff.
