What do migrants think about the population and migration discussion?

We’ll talk about whether there are hints of social problems arising in our fast growing cities.

  1. Population growth is scaring people. We (especially in the cities, and along the coastline) can see the effects every day, and no, we don’t like it. Massive migration programs, plus pro-natalist policies (baby bonus etc) are the culprit.

Both Labor and Liberal try to divert attention to a few boat loads of refugees, meanwhile bringing in hundreds of thousands (yes, that figure is real) of legal migrants, and the country can’t cope. But people who want population growth scream “Racist!” if anyone wants to talk about slowing population growth.
