Check out some of the cast on this red carpet back in 2003…

  1. I don’t get airing it on Channel 7 in prime time, as the ending isn’t going to make a whole lot of sense to people who haven’t been following it. As for me, I haven’t missed an episode so I’ll be there at the finish!

  2. I don’t think they had a clue what Lost was about then, or how many twist and turns they would take on the island. Seems like the show has been on forever. If you are in to all things Lost you have to see this band I found called Previously On Lost itsasickness.com/lounge/adam-and-jeff-are-obsessed-lost These guys re- cap each Lost episode in there music. Some of the cast even went out to one of there recent Brooklyn shows. Will see what the last episode has in store for us this weekend and then what the POL boys have to say about it too.

  3. I’ve never been so excited to watch a tv show in my life… Friends is my favourite tv show of all time, but i think the lost finale is even more highly anticipated. It’s a show alot of people have lost interest in (pardon the pun, but for those who stuck by it for 6 seasons, let’s hope it goes out in style and leaves us all gasping for breath. I’m prediciting….32million for lost finale in america, seven may get a million on wednesday.
    Three cheers for Lost

    Hipp Hipp Horray…

  4. Plus Hurley spent a few years back in the real world when he got off the island the first time, plenty of time to gain weight…hope there’ll be a second time but i don’t see this being a happy ending going by recent events! 🙁

  5. I’m really missing the “lost secret clues” analysis that used to be on the yahoo7 website. they stopped at episode 14 right when things were getting really interesting and I needed that other perspective more than ever. it is disappointing that after all these years of it they couldn’t keep it up for this last leg.

  6. @ steve: If you’re such a continuity fan, then you would have done a bit more research to see if this supposed lapse in continuity was justified. It’s hard to be a continuity fan if you don’t continue to watch the show.

  7. wow. now i feel old. Its been a great ride. Lost is one of a kind, maybe to never be repeated again.

read tonight’s episode is a ripper!

  8. Wow May 2003! it didn’t start airing until October 2004, thats a big space in between between casting and release for a tv show. I wonder if they’d filmed the pilto then? And Hurley didn’t lose much weight because they were only on the island for around 100 days! It seems longer because it was stretched out over like 4 years.

  9. oh and i love how much David is a lost fanboy 😀 no other show on this website gets as big of a coverage as lost, even when the article doesnt exactly have much relevance to TV news ( not that im complaining ;))

    sad to see it end

  10. steve- food has never really been an issue on the island. there was boar, and then a food pallette dropped from the sky giving them a tonne of food. plus there was the hatch which had more food…

you will probably roll your eyes at that and comment on its stupidity(i hope you dont though:)) and how absurd it is, but if you watched it from the start you would realise that its not as absurd as it sounds.

  11. Oh how things changed!

At first it was kinda like a pure survival show, I remember thinking it was just another reality show when I first heard about Lost.

Can’t wait for the final, but I will wait for Seven to air it Wednesday week!

  12. I’ve never watched this show, but I have seen recent promos.
I’m curious to know how the writers explain how the big hairy fat guy got even fatter despite being stranded on a fast-foodless deserted island.
I’m somewhat paunchy myself so I’m not being fatphobic, just a continuity fan!

  13. Wow, they look a lot younger back then. Ofcourse now the question is, in the new 2004 timeline, why do they look so much older than they were in the original?
