It was due to air tonight, but then it was taken out of the schedule.
Now The Middle is back on GO!
It returns 8pm Sunday August 15 with S1E8 “Thanksgiving.”
Thanksgiving plans go awry when Frankie has to work and Brick gets lost in a corn-maze he wanted to see. Sue also has her first boyfriend, but he might not be right for her or any girl.

Good. But they better not yank it off again. The more variety (i.e. not Seinfeld or Big Bang) on the channel, the better.
awesome! the middle is consistantly funny, where as modern family is often hit and miss,
now for Chuck!
1…..2……3……ooops it’s GO!ne again….
ohh a little harsh Justin. It’s not that bad.
I like the show, while maybe not as good as MF I think its still better than many others that came out last year.
But each to their own.
Was glad to see this show yanked off the air and will be again when the process is repeated in a few weeks. Another great example of poor and lazy comedy, displaying no wit, intellect or originality. The truth is its just a shoddy Malcolm in the middle knock off, so much so that it didnt even hide that fact by naming it half of malcolms title, to match half the quality.
Another Modern Family?? Just because they both revolve around families, dont compare the extremely well written and acted modern family, with this rubbish. Modern Family is comparable with a great show like Arrested Development. This is better compared alongside Gary Unmarried and Til’ Death
I think, can you confirm for me David ? that new episodes of The Middle were doing close to a million over summer ?
Vinny you are welcome to use Search and have a look, just as I would do. I try to make the blog / archive as self-serving as I can.
should we run a sweep on how soon before Nine/GO revokes this programming change?
This could have been another Modern Family, if only it wasn’t on Nine/GO!
David, I don’t think you should have posted this story, because there’s a high chance that repeats of tbbt or 2.5 men will air instead.
