Seven will air the doco series Breakout later this month.

The series documents high-profile jailbreaks and the detective work that leads to the escapees’ eventual recapture. Each episode is told from the combined points of view of the dangerous criminals who escape and the determined law enforcement teams who hunt them down.

It begins with “The Running Man”

Armed robber Dennis Hope is serving an 80-year sentence at the notorious Darrington Unit in Texas when he’s caught up in a bloody prison riot. However, his brush with death triggers his decision to pull off a daring escape and evade the numerous search parties sent to hunt him down.

It airs 9:30pm Wednesday September 22nd.

  1. Yes with less than a week for the US premier where is a date and time for ch7?

    Don’t say they will drop it onto the bloke ch 7MATE, as much as I’d love to see it in HD I’d prefer it on the main channel and not 7TWO or 7MATE.
