Did Allison have a premonition about this one?
Disappointing ratings for Medium‘s new season have seen TEN remove it from next weekend’s schedule.
It pulled just 343,00 on Sunday night, episode two of the seventh season.
It will be replaced by a repeat of Movie: Juno.
The following week the ARIA Awards air from 8:30pm.
Expect this one to be added to Eleven or possibly over summer….

Why are they repeating Medium on Channel 10 early Saturday morning and not playing the new season at that time instead? Put it on somewhere.
Good. Now I never have to switch to channel 10 again. DVD is so much better anyway, without the excessive number of Boring ads.
I love Medium, have been watching this show for years! I just know that the new season is on and was wanting to watch it this Sunday, then they moved it again!!!!! Channel 10 has been moving it too frequently making viewers not able to follow! Why!
doh! one of my favorite shows 🙁 agreed katrina, they have moved the night too many times & not promoted this new season properly. So when is 11 starting broadcast?
This just got cut down from 22 eps to 13 for CBS’s midseason schedule,
looks like the show is not long for this world
I’d rather watch Juno than Medium anyday!
It was the wrong night, and I think people are possibly getting confused by what shows are new episodes.
Finally! Now, CH7 can we remove The Ghost Whisperer please?
They did try it for a few weeks even with poor ratings, I’ll give them that. Probably better for 11 where you’d hope they don’t screw around the schedule.
I really loved this show when it first started.
But … over time … with storylines I didn’t like …
and channel 10 switching the nights they screened it,
I lost interest.
Now I just wish it would go away permanently.
And that’s sad.
Coz it used to be a good show.
Sorry to anyone who still enjoys it.
Just my humble opinion.
This show is most likely in its last season, so it would be odd to even bother putting it on Eleven. I predict it will surface on the main channel in Summer 2011-12.
This is disappointing. I’d be angrier about it if they hadn’t already scrapped “Supernatural”. Kind of saw it coming. Maybe someone at Channel Ten is scared of ghosts. Which might actually explain why they chose to air “Offspring” over the far, far superior “Spirited.” Hm.
Aren’t Ten not treating 11 as a dumping ground. Medium doesn’t really fit into 11’s youth skewed network. Maybe burn it off at 10.30 Friday nights.
I’ll admit they killed that show for me when they put it on Friday nights. I would of watched it even months later for them to put it on Thursday nights at the time around 9.30. As I want reliability and for certain shows to be on certain days. You might be able to change a day but it can end up killing it. So I gave up on Medium. Hint: Mon-Thur.
Although I did watch Smallville on Friday but that was at 7.30 (mainly Season 5 with a little bit of 4 and 6). They killed it again on Saturday and their HD channel. I will watch it on Eleven. As I have the DVDs. I wonder if it’ll be Season 8 or 9. Looks like 9.
Another thing if they put a show on the weekend it is for me the kiss of death. I’m just not watching Ten. Especially when the ABC or SBS has something I like on. Although this week strangely it was Channel 9 with Sherlock.
By the way good luck to those that love Medium I hope it gets a sensible timeslot plus a reliable day and time. Hint: Same Bat time, same Bat channel.
Good point Craig. Ya gotta wonder why they moved it there.
Wow was it a new season? didn’t even know. Might of watched it otherwise. It was only on for one week. Give it a chance.
I do agree though Sunday night is not a good night for it, how about Thursday when there is nothing on?
Also i find i miss Modern Family every week since its moved to the stupid time of 6.30 Sunday. They should have left it tuesday night. Honestly 6.30 Sunday what a stupid time.
Not to worry like most other shows i am interested in will watch elsewhere, cause TV stations sux!
Damn you 10.
I try to support local TV, but you make it impossible.
I will be going elsewhere for the rest of season 7.
A shame as it’s one of the best shows out there. It should have been given a mid week slot where it would have fared better.
I was just reading the Media Spy forums and there was a comment that said:
A guy on facebook in the Eleven page has said he has good source that has confirmed Eleven is coming to regional areas.
Maybe GEM could get the rights to it ?
🙁 one of my favourite shows and one that ten is usually (yet sometimes strangely) loyal with. its unfair, but the ratings did suck. Yes high hopes for 11 (as ten are pretty poor programmers during summer these days)!
What do they expect at 9:30 on a Sunday night?
Nooooo ! Damn you 10 ! Its not like they have anything better to put on when they are having to run repeat movies ! I think i see a premonition of Devil Wears Prada after the Arias !
This is one of the few decent American dramas on TV at the moment. If it is shafted to Eleven hopefully Tasmania gets the channel at the same time as everyone else.
Terrible news ten i was watching this show it’s a great show and worse of all it’s going to be replaced by the boring movie Juno well i guess i will be tuning into Medium on Eleven if regional will get it or over the summer.
