Series 4 of That Mitchell and Webb Look will have its Australian premiere on UK TV in November.

Hope they have more Numberwang in store!

David Mitchell and Robert Webb are back for a fourth series of their brainy but daft sketch show. This new series features returning favourites including accident-prone employee Hennimore with his terrifying boss, the post apocalyptic quiz show plus a raft of brand new characters. Among them are Sherlock Holmes and Dr Watson in their declining years tackling the mystery of the missing slipper as well as the world’s worst public speaker, Mr Martin Everclear. Meanwhile snooker commentators, Ted and Peter find their careers have hit rock bottom when hosting late night dog poker.

It returns Thursdays 9.30pm from November 4.

  1. I’m a massive fan of both this and Peep Show; I’d say the first season of Mitchell and Webb is the best sketch comedy this century bar Micallef Programme. However, a word of warning: I found season four to be very hit and miss, and disappointingly weak after the excellent third season.

    Mitchell and Webb seasons seem to be like the reverse of the Star Trek films – the even numbered ones are wonky, but the odd ones are fantastic.

  2. I find both David Mitchell and Robert Webb very funny when interviewed, and Mitchell on QI is brilliant, but dont think this and Peep Show are really that great.
